The game of Backgammon, known by various titles such as Five-in-a-Row, Gomoku, Gobang, Connect 5, and others across different cultures, is a strategic board game traditionally played by two participants. It involves careful planning and foresight, with gameplay centered around forming a consecutive line of five pieces.

【Game Modes】
<ul>
<li>Human vs. Machine Mode: Allows players to select a difficulty level among easy, medium, and difficult. The AI at the highest level exhibits thoughtful deliberation, providing a challenging experience. This mode also supports first-move selection, enabling players to choose whether they or their opponent will play as black and make the initial move.</li>
<li>Two Player Mode: Facilitates a direct duel between two players operating on the same device, each controlling either black or white pieces to simulate a face-to-face game.</li>

【Game Features】
<ul>
<li>Undo Function: Offers the ability to retract the previous move in case of mistakes, enhancing gameplay flexibility.</li>
<li>Background Music Setting: Includes options to toggle soothing piano music, such as Canon in D, to create an engaging environment.</li>
<li>Sound Effects: Provides the option to enable or disable sound effects associated with placing pieces, adding to the immersive experience.</li>

【Gameplay Mechanics】
<ol>
<li>Select the starting player to determine which side will hold black or white pieces;</li>
<li>Begin with an empty game board;</li>
<li>The player with black moves first, followed by alternating turns; each turn allows only one move;</li>
<li>Place a piece on an unoccupied intersection point on the grid;</li>
<li>Placed pieces are fixed and cannot be repositioned; however, the undo feature permits retracting moves if desired;</li>
<li>The game concludes when one player successfully connects five of their pieces consecutively in a straight line.</li>
</ol>
